Alice Caldwell, 84, formerly of Adair County, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 6:38amET, at theFt. Logan Hospital in Stanford, KY.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 1pmCT, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 693 Haskinsville Road, Greensburg, KY, with Rev. Michael Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in Bridgewater Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11amCT, Saturday, July 28, 2012, at the church.



Alice Caldwell, Adair County, KY (1927-2012)

She was born in Green County on Tuesday, August 9, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Tommy and Susie Kate Smith Caldwell. She died Wednesday, July 25, 2012, in Stanford, Lincoln County, KY, at the age of 84 years, 11 months, and 16 days.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters;Tom Willie, Alfonso, Paul Allen, Ivan and James Caldwell, Capitola Johnson and Mary CatherineCaldwell.

She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and a homemaker.Survivors include:
  • Two brothers: George (Catherine) Caldwell of Columbia, KY; and Daniel (Lessie) Caldwell of Cincinnati, Ohio.

  • Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
