Kern News from Campbellsville University CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY - Scott Necessary of Campbellsville has been employed at Campbellsville University as director of dual credit/assistant to the vice president for admissions, according to an announcement from Dr. Michael V. Carter, president of Campbellsville University. Necessary served in Campbellsville University's Office of Admissions from 1998 to 2006 as an admissions counselor, assistant director and coordinator of undergraduate admissions. He graduated from Campbellsville University in 1998 with a bachelor of science in chemistry, and in 2005 with a master of business administration. He was self-employed as an insurance agent for three years, and served 2.5 years as an accountant doing taxes and audits in Elizabethtown, KY. A native of Elizabethtown, he is a 1993 graduate of Central Hardin High School. He is the son of Jerry and Lillian Necessary of Elizabethtown, the husband of Tish Ewing Necessary and the father of two children, Kaleigh and Ryley. - Christina L.
