Mr. Edward "Eddie" Terrell Thomas Loyall, 74, of Summersville, KY, departed this life late Saturday, July 21, 2012 at his home in Summersville, KY

The funeral services for Mr. Edward "Eddie" Loyall will be conducted at 2pmCT, Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Buffalo Cemetery in LaRue County. Bro. Ivan Jones, Bro. Jerry Noe, and Bro. Jonathan Caven will be officiating. Visitation is requested 4pm-8pmCT, Monday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Tuesday, July 24, 2012 until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Johnny Scott. Coy Scott, Freddie Scott. Cody Scott, Derek Shofner. Andrew Scott, Joe Beams and Gary Caven.

Honorary pallbearers: Cynthia Scott, Alie Scott, and Jackie Beams

Mr. Edward "Eddie" Terrell Thomas Loyall, Green Co., KY (1938-2012)

Mr. Edward "Eddie" Terrell Thomas Loyall was the son of the late Charlie Sherman Loyall and Bertha Margaret Skaggs Loyall. He was born on January 2, 1938 in Larue County, KY and departed this life late Saturday, July 21, 2012 in Summersville, Green County, KY. He was 74 years, 6 months, and 19 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was member of the South Summersville Baptist Church. He was a former mechanic for Brown and Williamson.

He united in marriage to Carolyn Jane Akin Loyall on May 14, 1983 who survives.

Other survivors include the following:
  • His children: Sherry Lynn McCubbins, Mitzi Gayle Loyall both of Creal, KY; Lana Carol and Tim Simpson, Sandy and Gary Caven, Freddie Scott all of Greensburg, KY; Coy and Jennifer Scott of Summersville, KY; Jackie and Joe Beams of Greensburg, KY; and Johnny and Debbie Scott of Campbellsville, KY

  • Eleven grandchildren

  • Three great-grandchildren

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Mr. Loyall was also preceded in death by two grandchildren: Carrie Beams and Aaron Beams on February 26, 2002.

The Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY, in charge of arrangements.
