We're needing more people to come on board! After two super days of nearly $2,000 each, we stalled out a little yesterday. But that was Saturday, so we know people and churches and organizations who are waiting will come through! The sooner the better though. Thanks to all for the enthusiasm show thus far. - FRAN

To learn more about Mary's House and to see how you can help, NOW:

Cane Valley Christian Church, along with a group of concerned citizens, is raising money to build a new house for Mary McGuffin, a single, working mother with seven children, whose house recently burned. All donations will be escrowed until 100% of the funds are raised. Land and labor have already been donated. Checks are to be made to Cane Valley Christian Church Benevolence Fund with a memo of "Mary's House." Please make all donations by August 1 so that construction can begin. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact any of the people listed below:
- Jim Flowers - 270-634-1696; Melissa Fudge - 270-634-3603; Don Neat - 270-250-1512; Larry Neat - 270-789-7830; Debbie White - 270-384-5481
