He was a member of one Garlin's highly regarded merchant families of a few decades ago and is related to many in the Northeastern part of the county. Services and interment will be in Cincinnati, Ohio

Frederick Thomas Burton, "Freddie", passed away on July 13, 2012.

Services will be Friday, July 20, 2012, at 10amET/9amCT, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Hamilton Avenue Chapel, 7830 Hamilton AvenueCincinnati, OH 45231, followed by Interment in Baltimore Pike Cemetery, 3200 Costello Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio. Visitation is Thursday, July 19, 2012, 5pm-7pmET/at the funeral home.

Frederick Thomas Burton,"Freddie" was born on July 25, 1949. He was the son of the late Henry Thomas and Evelyn Coffey Burton of Garlin, Adair County, KY. He died July 13, 2012, at the age of 62 years, 11 months, and 19 days.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Arcie W. Burton and the following:
  • Step children: Patricia (Vince) Heideman, Debra Partin, Karen Bailey, and Glenn (Angela) Walz

  • Six siblings, Ronnie, Brenda, Audrey, Greg, Sharon, and Gary

  • Twelve grandchildren

  • Thirteen great grandchildren

  • And numerous other family members
In lieu of flowers, donations to assist with funeral expenses, can be made to the funeral home.
