He was the patriarch of a large, respected Metcalfe County family. He leaves 19 direct living descendants

Albert Anderson Coomer age 89 of Edmonton died Wednesday July 18,2012 at his home.

Funeral services will be 2pmCT, Saturday, July 21, 2012, at the Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Foundation Cemetery. Visitation will beSaturday from 11amCT, until service time at the funeral home.

He was the son of the late Floyd and Sally BrownCoomer.

He is survived by his wife Mary Coomer of Edmonton, KY, and the following:
  • Two daughters: Sami Hubbard of Edmonton, KY; And Ruby Whitehead of Columbia, KY

  • Eight grandchildren

  • And nine great grandchildren
Besides his parents he was preceded in deathby three children James Coomer, Barbara Holloway, and Diana Coomer.
