Click on headline for full story, contacts to give, and photo(s) By Fran Neat Mary's House inched only slightly ahead on Tuesday, but many people have told committee members that they will have a check in the mail this week! We need your help to meet our goal by August 1, 2012. Please don't delay. Be a part of this great project today! We're hoping heroes will come through today and make the total jump!- FRAN NEAT Mary's House by the numbers Goal - $40,000 by August 1, 2012. There will be an open meeting at Cane Valley Christian Church, 2250 Cane Valley Road, on Thursday, July 19, 2012, at 7pmCT, for anyone interested in helping with the construction and/or fundraising for Mary's House. This project is well under way and everyone is invited to get on board and help with this much needed project. Any questions call 270-634-0072 or 270-250-1510. We want to say thank you to all who have already contributed. - Fran Neat To learn more about the project and for information on lending your support, read on Cane Valley Christian Church, along with a group of concerned citizens, is raising money to build a new house for Mary McGuffin, a single, working mother with seven children, whose house recently burned. All donations will be escrowed until 100% of the funds are raised. Land and labor have already been donated. Checks are to be made to Cane Valley Christian Church Benevolence Fund with a memo of "Mary's House." Please make all donations by August 1 so that construction can begin.
