Taylor Co, KY hay fire suppressed; flares up, requiring 2nd call News from Taylor County Fire Department, Campbellsville, KY The Taylor County Fire Department responded to two calls yesterday, Monday, July 16, 2012, to a farm on KY 210 owned by Don Fuller. The department was dispatched the first time at 3:24pmET to the farm and found several roll bales of hay loaded onto a trailer on fire, fully involved. The hay was wetted down, the fire went down, and owner was able to remove hay from the trailer with a tractor. The second run was at 8:16pmET when a flare up was reported. Firemen returned and suppressed that fire. Firemen were able to save the trailer, but the hay was a total loss. The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time. Twenty firefighters were on the scene; the Taylor County Fire Department also responded. This story was posted on 2012-07-17 12:15:36
