The National Weather Service in Louisville, KY, has issued the following forecast for Columbia, KY. this forecast from update at 4:15amCT July 15, 2012
Today - Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly between 10am and 3pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 86. Southwest wind 3 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Tonight - Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Patchy fog after 3am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 70. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
