Pastors Gerald and LaVerne Reliford have ministered at New Life for the Nations Church for over 30 years. Now, Dr. Gerald Reliford needs community's help

By Ashley Adamson

There will be a Benefit Auction Dinner for Pastor Gerald Reliford, at the VFW Building, 411 Fairground St. Columbia, KY 42728 on Saturday July 28, 2012. We will be hosting an Auction & Dinner Benefit with the dinner beginning at 5pmCT. The auction begins at 6pmCT.

For over 30 years, Pastors Gerald (Jerry) and LaVerne Reliford have ministered at New Life for the Nations Church in Columbia, Kentucky. Two months ago, Pastor Jerry was stricken with necrosis of the lower digestive system.

Since his diagnosis, Pastor Jerry has undergone two major surgeries and still faces additional future reconstructive surgeries. Current medical expenses, and associated costs, have drained the family's financial resources and Pastor Reliford still faces a long journey before making a complete recovery.
