Columbia Police make arrest on cocaine, other charges Arrest made approximately 3 hours ago, at posting On Friday, July 13, 2012 at approximately 8:55amCT. the Columbia Police Department arrested 22 year old Brandon Burton. Burton was charged with public intoxication; tampering with physical evidence, possession of controlled substance, 2nd degree, drug unspecified; and possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, cocaine. He was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail by CPD Sergeant Gary Roy, who was assisted by Adair County Deputy Sheriff B.J.
