The National Weather Service in Louisville, KY, has issued the following forecast for Columbia, KY. this forecast from update at 2:15amCT July 12, 2012
Overnight - Isolated showers and thunderstorms after 5am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 67. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 10%.

Thursday - Scattered showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 9am. Cloudy, with a high near 80. Calm wind becoming southeast around 6 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Thursday Night - Showers and thunderstorms likely before 11pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 11pm and 3am, then scattered showers and thunderstorms after 3am. Cloudy, with a low around 69. East wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
