Taylor Co. deputy arrests man after Facebook investigation Arrest by Det. Brian Pickard came two hours ago, at this post, came after suspect allegedly arrived at a pre-arranged location where he thought he was meeting a 15 year old minor that he had met on Facebook, for sex CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY - Taylor County Sheriff's Office deputies have arrested Brandon Swanson, 29, 450 Greenbriar Drive, Campbellsville, KY, for attempted unlawful transaction with a minor, 1st degree (a class B Felony), and unlawful use of Electronic Means to induce a minor or peace office posing as a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activities. The arrest was made at 45 minutes past midnight, Eastern time, Monday, July 9, 2012, by Detective Brian Pickard in Campbellsville, KY. According to the police narrative, Swanson was arrested after arriving at a pre-arranged location where he thought he was meeting a 15 year old minor that he had met on Facebook, for sex. The "minor" was actually being portrayed by Deputies from the Taylor County Sheriff's Department in the ongoing effort to combat internet crimes against children. Mr. Swanson was arrested and lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center.
