Driver airlifted to UL following Pelham Branch Road collision Driver of second vehicle not injured By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY COLUMBIA, KY - Tpr. Andy Olson is investigating a collision that occurred Saturday, July 7 at 8:30amCT, 5 miles west of Columbia, KY on Pelham Branch Road. 75-year-old Wallace Bohanan of Columbia was traveling west on Pelham Branch Rd in a 2000 GMC Pickup when he crossed the centerline and struck a trailer. The trailer was being pulled by a westbound 2010 Ford SUV operated by 68-year-old William Cowan of Columbia, KY. Bohanan's vehicle then traveled through a yard and struck a house. Wallace Bohanan was not belted and was airlifted to U of L Hospital. William Cowan was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.
