Hot weather: A reminder to remember our four-legged friends

By Wendy Gousha

Just wanted to remind everyone that during these times of extreme hot weather we remember our four legged friends.

They can get over heated very easily and need fresh water throughout the day and plenty of shade. Remember too that our four legged friends can be scared of loud noises, so make sure that they are safe and out of harms way when celebrating 4th of July with fireworks.

We also need to remember our neighbors, especially our seniors.

Just stop and check in on those who may be living alone, or those who are not blessed with air conditioning. If you have an extra fan and some cold bottled water, and can share these small items; it only takes a minute to stop by and your visit is appreciated. - Wendy Gousha
