100 Kentucky Authors to be in Horse Cave, KY on June 30, 2012 Complete list of authors included below By Robert Stone Horse Cave BookFest is happening Saturday, June 30, 2012, 10:00amCT to 5pmCT at 112 East Main Street, Horse Cave, KY when over 100 Kentucky authors will be in town for book signings and readings. The Bookstore, Tom Chaney's abode, and Two Bears and a Dog Books are co-sponsoring this event which also features publishers and book sellers. Also in town and just a few minutes walk away are a Smithsonian Institution traveling exhibition: New Harmonies: Celebrating American Roots Music at the American Cave Museum (through July 28), an exhibition of bird photographs by Robert Doty at The Bookstore, and a display of Kentucky handcrafted musical instruments in the lobby of Kentucky Repertory Theatre where Cotton Patch Gospel will have 2pmCT and 7:30pmCT performances. Sally Lilley, retired to Horse Cave from Pennsylvania where she was president of the Philadelphia Guild of Puppeteers, will have puppets. Kentucky Publishers exhibiting include: American Quilting Society, Broadstone Publishing, Butler Books, Kentucky Monthly, Sarbande Books. Book Dealers exhibiting include: Don Seaman, Bookseller; Miles Farm Plus; Maxwell's Books; Thomas Dorn, Bookseller.
