By Cindy Burton

The descendants of Wayman Irvin and Minnie Susan Burton will be gathering for the first ever Burton Reunion! This event will take place at 12pm noon, CT, on Sunday, June 24, 2012. VFW Hall, 411 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY on Sunday, June 24, 2012. Food will begin being served at 1pmCT The dinner will be potluck so all participants are encouraged to bring a covered dish; meat will be supplied.

For entertainment, Living Waters, a bluegrass gospel band, will be performing. Also, there will be a live auction of misc. items donated and a cake walk! We are asking that each family or person brings at least one item for the auction and something sweet for the cake walk prizes.

All money gathered from the auction and cake walk will go to the cost of the building rental, supplies, and the meat furnished. If any proceeds are left over they will go into a fund for next year's event. --Cindy Burton cindy.burton@kctcs.edu
