The work will continue through Wednesday evening and should be completed by Thursday morning, June 21, 2012, at 6amCT, weather permitting. Lane closures will have traffic pushed down to one lane between 8 pm and 6 am while this work is performed. Motorists are encouraged to reduce their speed and pay attention to the flaggers who will be directing traffic. This activity is part of the widening project for Nashville Road due for completion in the spring of 2013. Upon completion the road will be five lanes wide with two lanes in each direction and a center turn lane. -Keirsten Jaggers Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, District, 3, Bowling Green, KY.
