News from Adair Farmers Market

Summer time, and the eating is good. Everybody is enjoying this morning's bounty from Adair County farms and gardens.. It's still two weeks to July 4th, but it's a patriotic day at the market: We've even got Red, White, and Blue Potatoes today, and hope to have them available right up to Independence day. Here's what we had this morning at 6:31amCT:

  • Darrell Bunnell, Coview Farms, Coburg, KY. Call 270-634-8207 :Yellow Squash. Zucchini. Green Onions. Red Potatoes. White Potatoes. Yukon Gold Potatoes. Green Cabbage. Red Cabbage. And PLANTS: Herb plants. Eggplant Plants. Pepper Plants. and Marigolds.

(No Fireworks here: He says you'll have to come out to his tent by Adair Gun & Pawn and Betty's OKCC, across from Trinity United Methodist Church, on Campbellsville Road for those.)

New Hours for 2012:

The Adair County Farmer's Market has new hours for 2012. Hours will be Tuesdays, Two Sessions at 6am-10amCT AND 3pm-6pmCT AND Fridays 6am-10amCT. The Farmer's Market will begin Saturday morning sales sometime in June as more produce becomes available.

of the colorful foods and plants available at the Coview Farms stall, at Today's Adair Farmer's Market, where the summer's bountiful crops with the real Taste of Adair County are available from Coview, from Ken Mooney, from Margie Rooks, and Holly Sinclair Kerns.
