Josephine Wilson, Casey Co., KY (1934-2012)

She was a homemaker and member of the Hilltop Church of Christ. She was of a small but respected South Central Kentucky family. She was the last of her siblings, the children of the late Daniel Everett and Dollie Satterfield Wilson of Casey County, KY. Though she leaves no direct descendants, several nieces and nephews, including two special ones, Lucas Paul Wethington and Billy Martin, survive to mourn her passing and cherish fond memories of her.

Josephine Wilson passed away Tuesday June 12, 2012 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY. She was 78.

Gravesides services are 2pmET/1pmCT, Wednesday June 13, 2012 at Old Contown Cemetery, with Bro. Clifford DeHart officiating. There will be no visitation.

Born Sunday, April 8, 1934 in Casey County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Everett and Dollie Satterfield Wilson. She died Tuesday, June 12, 2012, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 78 years, 2 months, and 4 days.

She was a homemaker and member of the Hilltop Church of Christ.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews and two special nephews, Lucas Paul Wethington and Billy Martin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Arlis, George, Albert, Lester and Estil Wilson and three sisters, Villa Martin, Minnie Wilson and Mary Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
