Adair Countian spent 18 months in Turkey: A wonderful country

Turkey is Bible land. Many Christian events occurred in the land

Charles Marshburn writes:
I spent a year and a half in this wonderful country but never made it to Antalya. The only turkeys I saw were some loud American tourists who had evidently received lobotomies at government expense. They were truly some of the "Ugly Americans" mentioned in the book.

The Romans vacationed in Turkey. There are some marvelously preserved Roman ruins at Kashadasi (spelled phonetically). The virgin Mary was said to have died near here. Turkey is Bible land. Saint Nickolas was the beginning of the Santa Claus story and lived in Turkey. King Midas lived here. The Galatians lived here. The Ephesians lived here and so on and so forth. The people are wonderful and the cuisine is outstanding. - Charles Marshburn
