Jimmie Kendall, 68, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 12:30pmET, Friday, June 8, 2012, in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral services will be at 11amET/10amCT, Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Michael Goodwin. Burial will be in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmET/4pm-7pmCT, Monday, June 11, 2012, at the funeral home.


Pallbearers: Kelvin Beard Hailey Jett Kendall, John Pickett Gavin Lee Kendall, Joshua Lee Kendall Jesse James Kendall, Joseph Wallace Kendall Henry Dalton Nunn, Jonah Ray Kendall Andrea Brooke Kendall, Leah McCall Kendall Ryder Warren Kendall, and Valarie Michelle.


Jimmie Kendall, 68, Campbellsville, KY (1944-2012)


Jimmie Kendall was the son of the late Willard Ray Kendall and Faith True Phillips Kendall. He was born in Marion County, KY, June 8, 1944. He died, Friday, June 8, 2012, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 68 years.

He professed faith in Christ and a member of the Salem Baptist Church.

He was owner and operator of Kendall Equipment and Kendall Angus Farm.

He served his country honorably in the United States Army Reserve.

He is survived by the following:
  • One daughter and three sons: Shellie Kendall and James Willard Kendall II and wife, Mary, all of Campbellsville, KY; Lee Allen Kendall and wife, Stacy of Mt. Juliet, TN; and William Tylor Kendall of Destin, FL

  • Eleven grandchildren: Joshua Lee Kendall, Joseph Wallace Kendall, Jonah Ray Kendall, Leah McCall Kendall, Valarie Michelle, Hailey Jett Kendall, Gavin Lee Kendall, Jesse James Kendall, Henry Dalton Nunn, Andrea Brooke Kendall, and Ryder Warren Kendall

  • Six great grandchildren: Alexis Grace Kendall, Chelsea Ann Kendall, Noah Matthew Kendall, Noah Ray Kendall, Isabella Sue Kendall, and Bentley Gordon Kendall

  • One sister: Mary Lee Kendall Pickett of Louisville, KY

  • Special friend: Brenda Watson of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews.

  • And many other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by one sister, Mattie Bell Kendall Jones.
