Donald A. Dudgeon, Campbellsville, KY (1933-2012)

He was a member of a large, highly respected Taylor County, KY, family. He leaves eight direct living descendants. He was a lifelong farmer. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. He professed faith in Christ and a member of the Meadowview Baptist Church

Donald A. Dudgeon, 79, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 6:27pmET, Friday, June 8, 2012, in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral services will be at 1pmET/12pm noon CT, Monday, June 11, 2012, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Arnold Moon and Rev. Brian Rafferty. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, West Main Street, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmET/4pm-7pmCT, Sunday, June 10, 2012, at the Parrrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.



Pallbearers will be Clay Barnett, David Cable, Drew Hayes, Wally Humphress, Roy Seaborne, Jr., and Willie Wise.

Donald A. Dudgeon, Campbellsville, KY (1933-2012)

Donald A. Dudgeon was the son of the late Willard "Bud" Dudgeon and Louisa Allen Dudgeon. He was born in Taylor County, KY, March 13, 1933. He died Friday, June 8, 2012, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 79 years, 2 months, and 26 days

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Meadowview Baptist Church.

He served his country honorably in the United States Army.

He was a lifelong farmer.

He united in marriage to Mary Etta Sapp June 6, 1953.

Besides his wife, Mary Etta Dudgeon, he is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters and one son: Donna Hayes and husband, David; Henrietta Barnett and husband, Steve and Allen Dudgeon, all of Campbellsville, KY

  • One granddaughter and two grandsons: Dana Hayes Fuller and husband, Ches of Lexington, KY; and Drew Allen Hayes and Clay Evan Barnett of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two great-grandchildren: Clara Grace Fuller and Eli Chesley Fuller of Lexington, KY

  • Several other relatives and many friends
He was preceded in death by one brother, Phillip Sublett Dudgeon II onApril 18, 1962.
