Dave Burton, now Tarheel, descended from Adair's NC People By Dave Burton Found Jim's article very interesting, especially to see my great grandparents listed - Harold and Emily Tedder. They lived on a mountain near Boone, NC. My great grandfather, Harold, traveled to the "Creek" area to survey and purchase some land. My great grandmother, grandmother, and her siblings traveled there shortly afterwards. Ironically, I now live in North Carolina! History repeating itself I reckon!! - Dave Burton Comments re article 52254 JIM The surnames of 19021910 influx of North Carolina People Adair Co KY This story was posted on 2012-06-04 13:49:46
