Charles Leon Hines, Casey County, KY (1942-2012)

He was a respected timber cutter and the patriarch of a large South Casey County family. He leaves a host of direct living descendants to mourn his passing

Charles Leon Hines, of Pee Dee Creek Road, Casey County, KY, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2012, at the Casey County Hospital, Liberty, KY. He was 70.Private burial will be held at South Fork Cemetery, South Fork Church Road, in Casey County, KY. There will be no visitation.

Charles Leon Hines, Casey County, KY (1942-2012)

Born Tuesday, February 17, 1942, in Casey Co., KY, he was a son of the late Charles William and Hazel Byrd Hines. He died Friday, June 1, 2012, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 70 years, 3 months, and 13 days.

Mr. Hines was a timber cutter.

Survivors include his wife, Gussie Cox Hines, and the following:
  • Sons: James Leon Hines and Brian Adam Hines

  • Daughter: Sarah Allen

  • Step sons: Robert Griffith and Paul Cox

  • Brother: JC Hines

  • Sister: Helen Ponder

  • Fifteen grandchildren

  • And several great grandchildren
