Dr. Jacob Burton awarded IU doctor of optometry degree He and wife Malory Feese Burton will be moving to Columbia, KY, where he will begin practice at the Dr. Max Downey clinic on Burkesville Street Click on headline for complete story, photo(s) By Chris Wilson BLOOMINGTON, INDIANA - Jacob Burton, a Columbia, KY resident, and a 2008 graduate of the University of Kentucky, received the Doctor of Optometry degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry, located in Bloomington, IN, on May 4, 2012. Jacob will be working with Dr. Max Downey, O.D., at Downey's Eye Clinic in Columbia, KY. He and his wife, Malory Feese Burton, daughter of Jeff and Shannon Feese of Columbia, KY, are purchasing a house in Columbia, KY, with the help of his uncle, Chris Wilson, Columbia realtor. Dr. Burton is the son of Greg and Julie Burton of the Mt. Carmel community of Adair County, KY.He is a 2004 graduate of Adair County High School, where he lettered in both baseball and basketball, Following graduation, he earned a Bachelor of Science in biology at the University of Kentucky, completing those requirements in 2008.
