Mr. Wayne Kidd, Green County, KY (1930-2012)

He was the owner of Mid-Central States Sales in Louisville, KY and had served in the United States Army. He was also a Kentucky Colonel

Mr. Wayne Kidd, 81, of Louisville, Kentucky, departed this life on May 27, 2012 at his home.

The funeral services for Mr. Wayne Kidd will be conducted at 1pmCT., Monday, May 28, 2012 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Liberty Separate Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Todd Davis will be officiating. Visitation will be after 11amCT Monday until service time at the funeral home.



Mr. Wayne Kidd, Green County, KY (1930-2012)

Mr. Wayne Kidd, 81, of Louisville, Kentucky, son of the late Dora and Annie Rowe Kidd, was born on July 29, 1930 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on May 27, 2012 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 81 years, 10 months, and 29 days.

He was the owner of Mid-Central Sales in Louisville and had served in the United States Army. He was also a Kentucky Colonel.

On July 12, 1952, he was united in marriage to Carroll Hancock Kidd, who survives.

Mr. Kidd is also survived by the following:
  • Two children: Donna Ryan and husband Frank of Fairdale and Shelia Frampton (Brian Yense) of Lousiville, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Laura Pollard and husband Phillip of Greensburg, KY; and and Whitney Tucker and husband Derek of Boiling Springs, South Carolina

  • His brother: Cliff Alan Kidd of Louisville, KY

  • And three great grandchildren: Ashleigh Pollard, Kalyn Pollard and Brady Pollard
In addition to his parents, Mr. Kidd is also preceded in death by his brothers: Forest Dale Kidd, Leamon Kidd, Otha Kidd and sisters: Ada Kidd, Beulah Kidd and Elsie Huff.
