Columbia, KY City Park pool opening delayed Parks and Rec Department is getting everything just right before pool is open. Target date is now Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Watch CM and other local media for complete schedule. By Tommy Steele News from Columbia Parks & Recreation Just wanted to let everyone know that unfortunately the city pool at the City Park inside the Adair County Fairgrounds, 413 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY, will not be opening this Memorial Day weekend as planned. We have a few small plumbing issues which we are still working on. It looks like we will be opening next Wednesday, May 30, 2012.
