Lillian E. Hatfield, Casey Co., KY (1931-2012)

She was a member of a highly regarded Liberty, KY, merchant family, with relatives in Casey, Adair, and Pulaski Counties. She had worked at Duds 'n Suds Laundry for many years. She was the widow of the late Howard "Peanut" Hatfield and was a member of Willow Springs United Methodist Church

Lillian E. Hatfield passed away Friday May 18, 2012 at the Casey County Hospital. She was 81.

Funeral services are 1pmET/12pm noon CT, Monday May 21, 2012 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Jimmy Brown officiating. Burial is at Salem Cemetery.Visitation is 5pm-9pmET/4pm-8pmCT, Sunday, Mary 20, 2012, at the funeral home.



Lillian E. Hatfield, Casey Co., KY (1931-2012)

Born February 21, 1931 in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Roy B. and Joyce Murphy Lane.

She is the widow of Howard "Peanut" Hatfield and member of the Willow Springs United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Hatfield was a store merchant and worked at Duds 'N Suds Laundry for many years.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two sons: Phillip (Janis) Hatfield of Somerset, KY; and Randy Hatfield of Liberty, KY

  • Two daughters, Teresa Burris of Columbia, KY; and Miranda (Mickey) Floyd of Waynesburg, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Erika, Bradley, Riley and Katie

  • Three great-grandchildren: Parker, Lily and Zaden

  • And brother: Stanley (Shirley) Lane of Liberty, KY
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Hershel, Wayne and Lonnie Lane and sister, Evelyn Hicks.
