Mike Moore, Columbia, KY, native, graduated from the nation's top Physical Therapist Assistant Program, at Somerset Community College, Somerset, KY, on May 4, 2012.

Moore's accomplishments are included below:

Moore was named New Century Scholar in April 2012 and represented the Kentucky Community and Technical College System's 16 colleges, 68 campuses, and over 100,000 students at the national community college conference in Orlando, Fla. where he was recognized.
Key note speaker at the KCTCS New Horizons Conference in Louisville in May 2012 with 16 Kentucky colleges represented.
All USA Community College All Academic Team nominee.
APTA National PTA Student of The Year nominee.
PTA Program's Professionalism and Advocacy award recipient
KCTCS All Academic Team member.
Coordinator for the SCC efforts in the American Heart Associan's "Heart Walk" in 2010
Co-cordinator of the SCC PTA Program's involvement in the national Marquette Challenge for the American Physical Therapy Association.
Co-recipient of the "Most Successful PTA Program" and "Merit Award" in the national Marquette Challenge for the American Physical Therapy Association.
Dean's List.
Phi Theta Kappa honorary.
Published in the Kentucky Physical Therapy Association publications.

He began his professional career in physical therapy in May 2012, at Orthodyne Physical Therapy in Campbellsville, KY.
