2012 Awards Day John Adair Intermediate School Click on headline for full story with photo(s) by Jennifer Mann By Jennifer Mann News from John Adair Intermediate School Awards were given for 95% or above in each subject area, perfect attendance, Accelerated Reading, Gifted & Talented, Academic Team, & Highest Overall Grade Point Average (G.P.A.) at John Adair Intermediate School's Awards Day. 3rd grade Perfect Attendance: Landon Sneed, Ranee Birdwell, Chase Burris. The awards were presented by Assistant Principal Kim Goodin. 4th Grade Perfect Attendance: Carrie Smith, Shelby Jones, Madelyn Brian, Kai Burton, Lexi Feese, Brianna Dale, Billie Jo Lawhorn, Shelby Smith, presented by JAIS Assistant Principal Kim Goodin. 5th grade Perfect Attendance: Bradley Durbin, Rachel Parrish, Mallory Powell, Chandler Wisdom, John Miller, Jose Cruz, Alex Evans, presented by Assistant Principal Kim Goodin. Top 10 Accelerated Readers: Baylor Giles, Alex Lara, Jaiden Taylor, Jose Foster, Chris Stuchell, Chandler Wisdom, Emma Cockerham, Elizabeth Jenkins, Meghan Higgins, and Tasha Wilson. The awards were presented by 5th grade Reading teacher Mrs. Ann Marr. Highest Grade Point Averages (GPA) for 2012 at John Adair Intermediate School were, 4th grade, Walker Karnes with an overall GPA of 97.45238. He is the son of David and Angie Karnes. For the 5th grade, Trevor Smith with an overall G.P.A. of 97.78571, son of Byron and Michelle Smith.
