Driver charged after hitting Bomar Heights house, driving off News from the Columbia, KY, Police Department On Sunday, May 6, 2012, the Columbia Police Department responded to a call at 401 Bomar Heights where a vehicle had struck a house and drove off. Officers located the vehicle on Akin Street. The driver Robert Neher, of Columbia, was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident, failure to maintain insurance, and operating motor vehicle under the influence aggravating circumstances and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail by Sergeant Jr. Murphy.
