Kentucky Derby: Wally Burress and Irving S. Cobb agree

Wally Burress writes:

Mr.Waggener, I had Laura send a couple of pictures from yesterday at the Derby. I tend to agree with what the author and columnist Irving S. Cobb wrote about the Kentucky Derby.

He wrote that "Until you go to Kentucky and with your own eyes behold the Derby,you ain't been nowheres and you ain't never seen nothing'!!

I know I'm biased on this subject,but it's quite the event to witness. I've been lucky to have attended 22 so far. Yesterday was the 28th anniversary of Chad's Derby. Regards, - Wally

Here are a couple of photos I took from the backstretch of Churchill Downs 5/5/12: The first one is of the horses as they go down the backstretch during the Kentucky Derby, the last horse in the photo in 7th place at the time, is I'll Have Another.
