Donald Royce Shappley, Russell Co., KY (1937-2012) He was a life member of Elks Lodge, was Tennessee State Elk of the Year 1998-1999, and was a life member of VFW - Russell County, KY. He was secretarty of Henderson, TN Lodge for 14 years. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and a member of the Church of Christ. A Memorial Service is at 11amCT, Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Carroll Egnew and Rev. Tim Johnson the officiating clergy. Heavenly Harmony will render special music. Visitation is 9amCT, Thursday, until time for the service. He died Monday, April 30, 2012, in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY, at the age of 74 years, 9 months, and 21 days. He was a life member of Elks Lodge, was Tennessee State Elk of the Year 1998-1999, and was a life member of VFW - Russell County, KY. He was secretarty of Henderson, TN Lodge for 14 years. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Lee Clayton Shappley, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
