COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Members of the Beta clubs and National Honor Society at Adair County High School and the Lindsey Wilson College Bonner Scholars collected 65 pairs of shoes for the county's underprivileged residents. The shoes were given to the Adair County Family Resource Center. The project was directed by LWC Bonner Scholar Stephanie Barrett of Louisville, KY., who modeled it on Toms' Day Without Shoes initiative. - Duane Bonifer, Lindsey Wilson College
