Alex Morgan wins First Place in state photo contest

Alex Morgan of Adair County High School recently won first place with a cash prize in the photography division of the Kentucky Federation of Woman's Club's annual State Art contest in Lexington, KY.



The photograph is of a beautiful sunrise farm scene taken in the Milltown are of Adair County as Alex was waiting for the school bus. It was taken early in the Fall of 2011, before the time change.

The photograph was proudly submitted by the Columbia Woman's Club to the GFWC/KFWC annual event which supports student arts in the state of Kentucky. - Delwin Blair
