Girl Scout Troop No. 1089 observes Earth Day Visit Adair Recycling Center, 62 Service Road, Columbia, KY, and review booklet on saving our earth, recycling, and famous environmentalist. Visit to ARC includes visit with most famous environmentalist in these parts, A.L. Sinclair. -CM Click on headline for story with photo(s) By Jacqueline Collins Girl Scout Troop No. 1089 celebrated Earth Day, April 22, 2012, by taking a tour of the Adair County Recycling Center. The troop also received an reviewed a booklet that talked about saving our earth, things to recycle and famous environmentalists from troop leaders Shannon Campbell and Shantila Rexroat. Those who visited the Adair Recycling Center were Amber Loy, Kaylee Campbell, Sarai Collins, Meredith Compton, and Shelby Smith. < Kiara Collins, Elizabeth Rexroat, Alexia Feese, Katlyn Lacy, Shayla Cravens, Jeanene Pike. Other members of Troop No. 1089 who could not attend are Amanda Nokes and Jenna Rodgers.
