PurePOWER Technologies open house Friday, April 20, 2012

News from Western Kentucky University

BOWLING GREEN, KY - PurePOWER Technologies, 2413 Nashville Road., Bowling Green, KY. Western Kentucky University's Center for Research and Development and WKU's Office of Research will celebrate the opening of PurePOWER's new Bowling Green facility with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 1pmCT, Friday, April 20, 2012.

PurePOWER, a Navistar Company, is located in the Center for Research and Development, An open house and tours of their facility will follow the ceremony.

Those making remarks include PurePOWER officials Houman Kashanipour, president; John Cagney, vice president for Engineering; and Jon Bigley, director of Engineering; and Gordon Baylis, WKU vice president for Research.

Tours of other research centers in the Center for Research and Development will be available 2:30pm-4:30pmCT.Bob Skipper, WKU
