Best Gospel Group in 7-County area?: The Goodins nominated

Writer likes their mix of styles, tight family harmony, good accompaniment, and the right amount of testimony with the music - good programs without wearing out listeners
Previous nominees: DRIVEN

By Patty Bunch

The Goodins: Danny Goodin, Jean Stargel, and Marilyn Radford

We have many talented singers in this area. Some folks like four-part harmony quartet style gospel music and will not listen to any other groups but those, I like that kind, but it isn't my favorite. I had rather have a mix of male and female voices and a group which mixes styles; a little bluegrass, a lot of southern gospel, some soul music will do me good too.One group in our area who gives me a good mix and fits my bill is the Goodins. They have tight family harmony, good accompanient, and the right amount of testimony with the music. This group provides a good program without wearing out their listeners, truly a blue ribbon group. - Patty Bunch
