Ben Loy re-elected to lead Adair County Democrats Cynthia Rowe is vice chair; Landon Edwards is secretary; and Victoria Pike elected treasurer. Ben Loy will be county delegate to state Democratic convention. Billy Bloyd elected as alternate delegate By Victoria Pike Saturday, April 14, 2012, at 10amCT, the Adair County Democratic Party. at the direction of the Kentucky Democratic. Party held a meeting to reorganize for the coming four years at the county caucus held at the Adair annex. The meeting was led by Ben Loy, chairman of the party. Ten men and ten women were elected to serve on the Adair County Democrat Executive Committee along with one youth, Cassie Rogers and the current Democratic Women's club president, Jamie Maurath. We are required to have an equal number of men and women on our committee. Men elected were: Ben Loy, J.M. Shelley, DeWayne Loy, Charles Barnes, Jack Collins, Billy Bloyd, Carl Arnold, Jeremy Wethington, Darrell Baker, and Richard Walker. Women elected were: Cynthia Rowe, Pam Shearer, Robin Hancock, Margie Collins, Evelyn Phelps, Sandy Rogers, Yvonne Arnold, Norene Feese, Martha Martin, and Victoria Pike. From the 20 men and women, we elected Ben Loy as Chairman and Cynthia Rowe as Vice Chairman. Ben Loy then appointed Landon Edwards as secretary and Victoria Pike as treasurer according to the bylaws. Ben Loy was elected to attend the Kentucky Democrat Party Convention and Caucus to be held in Louisville KY on June 2, 2012, at 10amCT, at the KY State Fairgrounds. Billy Bloyd was chosen as an alternate.
