Metcalfe Co. Kentucky Proud Farmer's Market opens Friday

The Metcalfe County Kentucky Proud Farmer's Market will begin operations tomorrow April 6, 2012, at 8amCT on Fridays only, until mid- May when Tuesdays will be added. There will be garden plant starts, local meats and more. The Farmer's Market is located on East Street, less than 1/8th of a mile from the Edmonton town square. across from the Metcalfe County Extension office, 422 East Street, Edmonton, KY.


The Farmer's Market is handicap accessible and operates in a covered pavilion, with bathroom facilities and plenty of parking. Please feel free to call the Metcalfe County Extension office at 270-432-3561 for more information. Lynn Blankenship, Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Agent and Brandon Bell Agriculture Natural Resources Agent, co-coordinate this Kentucky Proud Farmer's Market, which is in its sixth season of operation.
