Commends Greg Burton: Cobbs Plantation story

Ken Poole writes:
Nice work up on Cobbs,

I've been over this as well and found Baught's land as well as Abraham Woods property was miles to the west near the great rocks of the Falls of the Appomattox river.

In 1702 or 1704 a John Bolling was granted 400 acs near where said Cobbs is now. This is found in the Lost English Land Grants. It appears to me the said Cobbs location got confused by the Park people.

Can this be correct? I also walked over the area. Thomas Lygon owned property near there. Graves? No wonder they can't find them if they got the wrong property. --Ken Poole
