Mrs. Ruth P. Thomas a kind dear person Sammy Baker writes: I want to express my condolences to the Ruth P. Thomas family. She was a kind, dear person. When I was a young boy I contracted polio and had to be under medical supervision for the duration of a school year. We had been attending Antioch School at the time but by the time I was better and heading back to school, Antioch School had combined with Breeding School. At that time Mrs. Thomas was my 3rd grade teacher. She was compassionate and caring and helped me through that year. She was always supportive and never let me think that I couldn't accomplish what I needed to catch up with my lost year of schooling. Because of her support I was able to succeed and carry on. She was a wonderful person who will be deeply missed by many. - Sammy BakerComments above re: Ruth P. Thomas, 101, Adair Co., KY (1910-2012) This story was posted on 2012-03-31 12:41:20
