LWC Men's Tennis secures 9th straight MSC title On outstanding play by Fabricio Morales, Pablo Vilches, Fernando Bagajo Fredrik Graaner, Gilles Cornelis Marlon Dal Pont and Victor Saez, Lindsey Wilson Men's Tennis Beats Cumberlands 8-1, remains perfect in the MSC News from Lindsey Wilson College WILLIAMSBURG, KY - The Lindsey Wilson College men's tennis team captured at least a share of the Mid-South Conference regular season title Wednesday, March 29, 2012, with an 8-1 win over host University of the Cumberlands (Barbourville, KY) For Lindsey WilsonMarlon Dal Pont and Victor Saez got the ball rolling with an 8-4 win in the third-seeded doubles match over Tyler Smith and Daryl MacLeish. Fabricio Morales and Gilles Cornelis continued their dominance of the opposition with an 8-4 win over Guillermo Alvarez and Jerrid Neeley. Morales and Cornelis are a perfect 14-0 this season as a pair as the No. 2-seeded doubles team. Fernando Bogajo and Fredrik Graaner completed the Blue Raider sweep with an 8-3 win over Juan de la Llera and Danilo Garcia in the top-seeded doubles match. Pablo Vilches won his sixth straight singles match of the season with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Alvarez in the No. 3-seeded singles match. With the win, the Blue Raiders took the 4-0 lead.Morales is ranked No. 49 in the nation in singles -- officially closed out the match win with a 6-0, 6-0 blanking of Garcia. Morale improves to 15-2 this season as the Blue Raiders' second-seeded singles player and has won 13 straight singles matches.
