Shirley Mae Stubblefield, Casey County, KY (1935-2012)

She was the matriarch of a large, respected Casey County, KY family and the widow of Robert J. Stubblefield. She leaves 33 direct living descendants. She was a homemaker and a member of Pine Grove Church.

Shirley Mae Stubblefield passed away Tuesday March 27, 2012 at the Liberty Care Center, Liberty, KY, at the age of 76.

Funeral services are at 11amET/10amCT, Thursday March 29, 2012 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Jeff Edward officiating. Burial is at Mill Springs Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 9amET/8amCT, until the hour of the funeral service.



Shirley Mae Stubblefield, Casey County, KY (1935-2012)

Born Friday, July 19, 1935 in Ohio , she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Martha Adams Baker. She died Tuesday March 27, 2012, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 76 years, 8 months, and 8 days.

Mrs. Stubblefield is the widow of Robert J. Stubblefield. She was a homemaker and member of the Pine Grove Church.

Survivors include:
  • A son, Roger Stubblefield of Danville, KY

  • Daughters: Donna Stubblefield of Liberty, KY; Christine McQueary of Danville, KY; and Julie Salamanca of Liberty, KY

  • Thirteen grandchildren

  • Sixteen great grandchildren

  • Sisters: Florence Sinkhorn and Geneva Vaughn both of Cincinnati, Ohio
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a son, Robert Stubblefield; brothers, Donald , Pete, Billy, Johnny Baker; and sister, Rosa Lee Pike.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY. Guestbook available.
