Willard L. Phillips of Shelbyville, Indiana, died at 2:15amET., Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in Shelbyville, Indiana.

Services will be graveside, at 11amET/10amCT, Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Brookside Cemetery, East Main Street, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. Robert Grammer.

Willard L. Phillips, Taylor Co. KY native (1942-2012)

Willard L. Phillips was the son of the late Walker Phillips and Bessie Frances Hiestand Phillips. He was born Monday, January 5, 1942 in Taylor County, KY. He died Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in Shelbyville, Shelby County, IN, at the age of 70 years, 1 month, and 24 days.

He was a self-employed musician.

He is survived by:
  • Two sisters: Myrtle Carrie Phillips Mendoza and husband, Tony and Margaret Phillips King

  • Brother in law, Rev. Earl Pike

  • Special cousins: Faye Price and Bro. Robert Grammer

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Louise Pike October 8, 1997.

The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangments.
