Mrs. Peggy Elizabeth Bishop, age 75 of Greensburg, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, KY.

The funeral services for Mrs. Peggy Elizabeth Bishop will be conducted at 1pmCT., Monday, March 12, 2012 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation is requested from 3pm-9pmCT, Sunday, March 11, 2012 and after 7amCT, Monday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Edgar Yates, Wesley Hardin, Ray Hudgins. Joe Yates, Keith Whitlow.

Honorary pallbearers: Jane Todd Crawford Hospital employees.

She was born September 16, 1936, She died Thursday, March 8, 2012 in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age if 75 years, 5 months, and 21 days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Baptist Church.

She united in marriage to William Bishop who preceded her in death on December 20, 1980.

She is survived by the following:
  • A son and daughter-in-law: Terry and Kathy Bishop of Greensburg, KY

  • A daughter: Tammy Tedrow of Greensburg, KY

  • Grandchildren: Jordan Stilwell, Chasity Bishop and Amand Siders all of Greensburg, KY; and Chasity Bishop and Bryan Bishop of Indiana

  • Three great grandchildren: Dustin Thompson, Destiny Poynter, and Dillon Poynter all of Greensburg, KY. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Hardin.

  • Three brothers and two sisters: Jimmy Taylor, Joe Taylor, Mike Taylor, Helen Walker, and Florence Mitchell all of Campbellsville, KY
