James Gregory Flatt, 29, Jonah Kelsey Road, Russell Springs, KY died Tuesday, March 6, 2012.

Funeral services will be at 10amCT, Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Elvis Tucker the officiating clergy. Special music will be by Southern Harmony. Burial will be in Square Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Friday, March 9, 2012, at Bernard Funeral Home.

Pallbearers: Brad Cooper, Brad Chapman, Jason Popplewell, Richard Eads, Jason Eastham, and Paul.

He was born December 3, 1982, in Taylor County, KY. He was the son of Lisa Ann Walters Flatt and James Orvin Flatt. He died in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at the age of 29 years, 3 months, and 3 days.

He was a carpet installer.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Orvin Flatt.

He is survived by the following:
  • His parents: Lisa Ann Walters Flatt and James Orvin Flatt, Russell Springs, KY

  • One sister: Elisabeth Ann Flatt

  • Maternal Grandparents: Eugene and Susie Walters, Russell Springs, KY

  • Paternal Grandmother: Frances Flatt, Russell Springs, KY

  • Maternal great grandmother: Clara Bennett, Jamestown, KY

  • Special girl friend: Sarah Voils, Russell Springs, KY

  • Several aunts, uncles and cousins
