Earlene Johnson, 83, Hwy 910, Russell Springs, KY died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.

The funeral service will be at 11amCT, Friday, March 9, 2012, at Fairview Baptist Church, with Bro. Cleveland Johnson and Bro. Steve Bennett the officiating clergy. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery. Visitation is after 8am, Friday, at Fairview Baptist Church.



She was a homemaker and affiliated with Fairview Baptist Church.

Earlene Johnson, Russell Co., KY (1928-2012)

She was born Monday, October 22, 1928, in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Blair Johnson and the late Ulysses Johnson. She died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 83 years, 4 months, and 14 days.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Johnson.

She is survived by the following:
  • One step-son: Bobby (Sue Ellen) Johnson, Jabez, KY

  • Two step grandchildren

  • Six step great grandchildren

  • One sister: Eutrice Roy, Jamestown, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers.

The family requests memorials to Fairview Baptist Church. These can be made at the funeral home.

Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
