Three students from Casey County Middle School, Liberty, KY, were honored for their performances at Somerset Community College' eleventh annual Teen Theatre Festival on March 3, 2012. Rebecca Sizemore and Morgan Ruesser, Casey County Middle School, Liberty, KY, took first place for the scenes contest for grades 7-9 and Abby Raines, Casey County Middle School, Liberty KY, won Second Place in the Monologue contest for grades 7-9.

Awards were given to teens who performed monologues (one person performances) and scenes (performances involving two students) in two different categories.

The day-long event included an improvisation workshop, a screening of short films and a performance competition that saw many teens from the area and across the region taking home awards.
